My Latest Info:

This past film I made was a documentary entitled "An American Dream". I made it for a competition put on by C-Span. It was called "Campaign Cam", and it's purpose was to get students in the U.S. involved in the 2004 elections. Middle School and High School students throughout the nation were to choose an election topic important to them and make a film about it. There were different options, Straight Documentary, News Anchor-Style, News Magazine style and much more. I chose straight documentary.

The topic I chose was Latino immigration, specifically in Park City, but also in the entire nation, and how it helps our country. Listed below are links to newspapers and independent writer's articles on my story. Also, there is a link to view the film. You can also request a copy by sending me an email -> Email Nicco

What's New Now?

I just barely finished a documentary entitled "Small Town News", a story about Park City Television. I currently intern there and decided to take a more critical view of the station. I set out to find what the community's media had to say. My main question: Is Park City Television too positive? Who's featured in that film:

Stanton Jones, the owner of PCTV.

Nan Chalat-Noaker, the editor of the local newspaper.

Jeff Swindel, director at PCTV.

Josh Greenbaum, director at PCTV.

Does PCTV provide adequate news for the community?.

Latest info on Small Town News?

Small Town News went on in the "History Day", competition and did not carry on from State. I hope to enter the film in other competitions around the country. When I do, I will post updates on Qcamproductions.com.
